Dartmoor

It was a cold winters morning & I was with Kim & Chloe after we had all had a bit of a negative morning and we were driving home we had a brilliant idea of going up to Dartmoor National Park and see if there is any snow up there. So naturally we went to Tesco on the way and bought a selection of crisps, cookies, donuts, chocolate and drinks. I mean what is a road trip without junk food. We were listening to the only album Chloe had in her car Mumford and Sons ( I was a fan of Mumford & Sons, i think i still am we are just taking a break right now) I do love the album just after spending a day listening to it on repeat starts to do your head in! Please tell me this has happened to you too?

But forgetting the music, I loved every second of it. Sometimes it’s nice to take a day off and go and do something enjoyable with friends it was freezing but we didn’t care, we were all wrapped up and enjoying the views. I don’t think i’ve been up on the moors since i used to live in England 13 years ago so it was great to go and see everything again. The views of the countryside is just stunning! And there are lots of wild horses that live up on the moors and they were more than happy to pose for the camera, well they were after i convinced Kim to share her blueberries from Tesco with them!

So we all had a great time despite the weather not being great, and having a crappy day. It was really therapeutic to just get out of the ay and do something different.

I hope you enjoy the photos !
